The school’s motto ‘Learning for Life’ is at the heart of all that we do and is lived and breathed by the whole school community each and every day. This enthusiasm for learning makes our school a very special place to come to work and learn. Our core school values of Respect, Enthusiasm, Co- operation, Compassion and Determination are a thread that runs throughout our school and these values are embodied by our staff, pupil and parent communities. We are very proud to be a Gold Rights Respecting School, recognised by UNICEF for the excellent work that we do around the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and teaching our pupils about their rights

We are passionate about providing the best possible learning experiences for the whole child, ensuring a high quality education in its widest sense. Our carefully planned curriculum, and wealth of additional opportunities, ensures that our children are motivated by and engaged in their learning. It is this enthusiasm, from both staff and pupils, that creates the buzz that is felt in every classroom every day.

At Caversham Primary School we aim to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all those connected to our school feel proud of their identity and able to participate fully in school life. As a school we make special efforts to ensure that all groups prosper and achieve their full potential. We are very proud to be a therapeutic, trauma informed school and strive to create an environment in which each pupil is given the help they need to overcome any barriers to learning in order to achieve success.
