This is an exciting, fun place to learn where Every Child Matters. The pupils are enthusiastic about their learning and keen to come to school. The staff is a highly dedicated, professional and approachable team that strives for excellence. The parents, grandparents, friends and Governing Body of Caversham Primary School play a vital role in school life. This website aims to give a taste of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for the whole school community.

Our most recent OfSTED inspection was in February 2009 and the findings are published on our website, under Key Information. The report can also be accessed via the OfSTED website (www.ofsted.gov.uk). The school was judged to be 'Outstanding' in all areas. It is an excellent report that rightly recognises the important part played by all in the school in achieving that result.

A distinguishing feature of any outstanding organisation is that it is never satisfied with what it has achieved, and that it instead strives for constant improvement.  I believe that this feature distinguishes this School, and can be seen in everyone involved with it:  its excellent and inspiring head teacher Ruth Perry; the enormously dedicated and talented teaching and support staff, the hugely supportive parent body – and of course the children themselves.  Both I and the governing body are delighted to be involved with the School and to assist in helping each one of our children flourish and develop in every aspect of their school lives.
